About Us

The Mozambican economy has been under pressure for some time resulting in a substantial increase in the unemployment rate and an increase in the number of jobless households. The Mozambican operating business landscape continues to be a huge challenge for most local businesses, who often have to wrestle with higher prices, poor road infrastructures, quality of power and a generally non existence skilled workforce. (The world bank reports have reported that Mozambique is one of the poorest country on the planet, with increased multidimensional poverty from (32% to 46% during 2019/20 levels observed in 2002/03/).

Just like the rest of the world, Mozambique finds itself at an interesting intersection. The discovery of huge natural gas reserves has the potential to transform Mozambique. It paves the way for the country to become a leading regional LNG exporter and a major global energy player. It will deliver significant revenue to the economy of Mozambique and pave the way for industrialization that will benefit generations to come. The country needs to deliver economic and job growth while also supporting the country’s most vulnerable citizens, who do not even have access to social welfare program. The tax base is shrinking, the gap between those who have and those who don’t is widening, the levels of corruption are unprecedented and the truth of the matter is that the moral compass of Mozambique has taken a beating and there is pessimism in the air.
